Unlucky night at a Sarasota bingo hall

SARASOTA - Deputies in Sarasota say two armed men robbed a bingo hall in the final minutes of 2007, and they're still on the loose.

Investigators say the robbery happened at the Palm Plaza Bingo Hall on Bee Ridge Road at about 11:35 p.m. on Monday night.  They say two suspects entered the building through the back door, and confronted three employees. 

According to deputies, one of the suspects was armed with a handgun, and he ordered two of the employees to the floor.  They say he demanded money from the third employee, who complied.  The two suspects then fled the business through the back door. 

The two men are still on the loose, and deputies describe both of them as being between 5'6" and 5'8" tall with slender builds.  Both men were dressed in black and wearing ski masks and gloves during the robbery.
