New lottery and bingo game launched for retailers
A Swedish game combining a lottery and bingo is being launched on three UK digital TV channels.
The backers of BingoLotto claim some 10,000 British retailers will sell its £2 game cards, which entitle players to take part in three live, 'interactive' bingo games being shown on the Virgin 1 platform and broadcast on three digital platforms.
The shows will be presented by comedian Joe Pasquale and Suzanne Shaw, one time member of manufactured pop band Hear'Say and a contestant in the Dancing On Ice television series.
The show has a mascot called Mr Bing. A variety of prizes, including cars, will be offered.
