Great-grandad wins £40,000 at bingo
A GREAT-grandad almost brought the house down when he won a £40,000 jackpot at a South Shields bingo hall.

61-year-old and his wife started jumping about after landing the prize
on the National Bingo Game at the Majestic Club in the town's Denmark
Centre.The lucky winner only thought he had landed the house prize of £120 after completing a full house in 45 numbers.
And he and his wife were about to leave the club during a 20-minute wait for the national results to come through.
But then it was announced his was the lowest call from 470 clubs playing nationwide on Monday, January 14.
He said: "We were already walking out the club when it was announced how much I had won. I was stunned. When we realised, we were both so pleased we started jumping about."
The retired winner, who does not wish to be named, said he had been playing bingo "every night for many years", but this was his first big win.
The father-of-four from Castletown, who has four grandchildren and three great-grandchildren, now intends to take his wife on their first holiday abroad together.
He is also considering re-decorating his home and buying new furniture.
"The Majestic has been very good to us as we win quite regularly. It is a great club," he added.
