PartyGaming announces excellent third quarter results - Online Bingo News

The online gaming sector receive a confidence boosting announcement from online gaming group PartyGaming which is reporting a 24% increase in revenues to US$116 million for its third quarter, 2007. The figure marks a 5% rise on the previous quarter.

The excellent results are attributed to the company's strong performance in its online casino operations, which also offer customers a comprehensive online bingo option and a range of online bingo games under the PartyBingo brand.

PartyGmaing has confirmed that its improved performance owes much to its growth in its casino operations.  This was despite a 14% drop in yield per active player day due to the loss of the US market last year.

Many online gaming companies, including online bingo halls and free bingo online operators, were effectively shut out of the US market through the implementation of the Unlawful Internet Gambling Enforcement Act in that country.  The industry will receive a much needed confidence boost through PartyGaming's successful rebound from that event.
